I went to Staples this morning to get ink for my HP printer. They have a deal right now that if you buy $75 worth of ink, you save $15. So I bought two complete packages of ink for my printer: all three colors and then the black. Price was well over $100 to get two packages. But I also had a 20% coupon off on HP ink that I received in the mail, plus a $10 coupon off anything over $50 that I received via email for signing up with Staples, plus a $20 Staples Rewards cash-back coupon that I received via email.
The bottom line is that I got two packages of printer ink, each containing Black XL, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow for less than the price of one package!
Plus, I took 8 empty ink cartridges with me to turn in, so when they do the next Staples Rewards thing, I'll be getting $16 back in Rewards. That will help with ink again.
Printer ink is just ridiculously expensive. And my HP printer goes through all kinds of motions every time I want to print something; it's just ridiculous how much ink is wasted in that printer. So any time I can get a great deal, I'm happy.
