They have also moved into New England. I have one right down the road. I LOVE Starbucks, but normally go to Dunkin Donuts.Originally Posted by Miss Mew
Timmy's!!! (Tim Hortons)a very Canadian place although they do have some in Port Huron Michigan and Buffalo.
My favorite coffee is from WaWa, Dunkin Donuts and Caribou. There are also a few small independently owned shops I try to frequent as well. Starbucks is "ok", but not the best. Where I live, they are a dime a dozen. You are not missing much at all.Originally Posted by DRIVEN
I love the French Vanilla Cappucino from our Speedway gas station here.
I really wish we would get a Starbucks though
Totally agree here..Also, they have some less than stellar and highly unscrupulous business practices when it comes to outing small independent run coffee housesOriginally Posted by Gil

I couldn't have said it better. I really liked going to SB when they first came to the East coast over 10 years ago, but as you mentioned, many smaller shops just can't compete. In downtown DC, it's not unusual to have two or 3 Starbucks on the same block.Originally Posted by Loveysmummy

I like Second Cup (Canada) or locally owned places. Usually the best are found in Little Italy neighbourhoods
