Has anyone else’s cats changed colour ?

Hello, so i got my fur baby Romeo (M8) at 8 months old and throughout the years his eye colour randomly changed from a light Brown to a greenish colour. has anyone else’s cat been through a similar thing? does anyone know why a cats eye colour would change ? i’ll attach comparison photos below . the first one is from 2014 and the other two are from 2022

Kittens all start out as blue-eyed, and their color will gradually change to their true color by the age of one year. I would say at 8 months his eyes weren't quite done changing.....

They looked amber at first and now light green / hazel maybe. He is a beauty I think there is one breed whose eyes change slowly from amber to green maybe. I have forgotten which one now, it will come back to me. Angie’s eyes when she was young stayed blue for longer than normal and then turned bright green.

Cat eyes can change color depending on lighting as well. Some are yellow/orange, yellow/blue or yellow/green.
