That would explain why Dumbledore's memories are pulled from bottles in book six, when before he always pulled them out of his head to put them into the pensieve!Originally Posted by laureen227

But if they did switch where would Dumbledore keep getting the "bits" of Snape to keep taking the potion. Don't forget Baty Crouch Jr had to keep Moody alive to keep taking the polyjuice potion.Originally Posted by Kiwideus
That is an interesting theory about Dumbledore and Snape swapping over using the polyjuice potion - I never thought about that.
I wondered for some time if Dumbledore was actually a death eater in disguise.
i like the polyjuice potion idea.....but it's kinda far fetched...Originally Posted by SwampWitch
I sure hope Harry doesn't die. His life has been so difficult, and to kill him in the end before he has a chance at happiness would completely suck.
If you've read the Narnia series, you know that all the kids die in the end. The last book completely ruined the series for me. It's lame, just like the old "waking up and it was all a dream" plot.
If Hermione or Ron die, I suppose it would be in helping Harry.
I think Snape is actually good, and the fact that Dumbledore is associated with a Phoenix means maybe he will come back in the last book.
Me, too!just reread the sixth one. I raced through it so fast the first time that I missed a lot of things! I'm bracing myself and ready for the seventh
And Dumbledore DID say there were probably Horcruxes from each of the Houses, and Harry could be the Gryffindore one! That's a great theory! It would fit with the prophecy and would also explain this:Originally Posted by libby74

My DH hasn't read any of the books, so I was telling him about Horcruxes. He thinks one of the Horcruxes is actually Harry, that's why Harry & Voldemort are so connected....
I am finishing re-reading the sixth one as well. I read it the last time the day it came out in it's entirety! I remembered the end in detail, but the rest was fuzzy....except the "relationships".Originally Posted by SwampWitch

Why do the good guys have to die? Why can't it just be the bad guys?
I think because Harry and "he who we shall never name" wands contain a feather from the same bird they will end up in a draw. Both will lose their powers, the bad guy will become a blubblering harmless idiot and Harry will drift off into muggle land leaving only his legend.
