It is possible, but I wouldn't know. I was under the impression that prices were fairly constant up until recently.Could it be the increase for rabbit is because of it being summer? I seem to recall the HT representative (Tracy?) saying that it is difficult to raise rabbits in the summer because they don't tolerate heat well.
Either way, I find that HT's pricing is still competitive with other options (such as Raw Feeding Miami), especially for rabbit. It might just be that demand for some products is exceeding supply, so prices are being adjusted to reflect this.
Depending on what proteins you use, it might be more cost effective to order from other sources. I have started ordering some of the RFM grinds in addition to HT products, since I am fortunate to have enough freezer space. (I can send a referral link that gives 10% off your first RFM order to anyone who is interested.)
