Hi Everyone,
I don't think this has been recalled, but does anyone have any info on it? I have fed my guys the sliced beef dinner in gravy. (Made by Albertsons') Normally, I don't feed them this brand--but a neighbor gave it to me a few weeks ago, as her cat didn't like it. I have been feeding to the 9 kids off and on over the past 3 weeks or so.
She also gave me the Companion (which is on the recall list) pouches; I never fed them those--and I was going to just as this news broke--and I just looked at the dates--they ARE on the list! Thank God I heard about this first!
For the time being, there will be NO wet food in this house; I'm cooking chicken and beef for them for a week or two--I don't trust the cat food industry right now. If it IS rat poison in the wheat, and not placed there deliberately, couldn't it also be distributed to other manufacturers? I don't want to scare anyone, but this crossed my mind. Thoughts???
Thanks!
