3 years ago, this little guy came into my life.
He started out as a foster - my first foster ever - on this day 3 years ago. He came with his sister, (who went to the bridge 5 months later). He was really shy, but I fell in love with his fluffy little self and within a week had changed his name to Larry (and his sister's name to Lena) and had decided I'd never be able to give them up.
It had been 9 years since I had had a cat, and I had forgotten the joy that these little creatures can bring.
He makes me laugh, he makes me so happy, he's there when I come home, eager for some lovin', he hops on the bed at night, and makes sure his paw is touching my arm, and right now, he's playing with a little bit of cardboard he got off a box he was using as a scratching post.
Lots of toys around, but Larry likes the little bit of cardboard.
I can't imagine life without him. Happy Gotcha Day, Mr. Fluffy-butt!!
