I had a lovely couple over for lunch today that I met this summer at the golf course. They are going to Florida for the winter so we wanted to get together before they leave. They came for lunch and didn't leave until 5:45 so I'm guessing they enjoyed their visit.

We have a winter wonderland here. London (about 15 minutes west of me) got tons of snow - 3-4 feet in some places. We didn't get as much but it's beautiful here.

What could be better than spending your birthday with wonderful friends?
