Thank you all for the good wishes!
It's been a pretty low key day, which is just fine with me. I engaged in a little Retail Therapy this afternoon, which is unusual for me, but felt good. In a little while Rob Jr and his SO will be here for dinner. We were going to go out to one of my favourite restaurants -- in fact we've gone there the last three years or more. Well, it wasn't to be, as Rob found out when he called to make the reservation yesterday, and found that they were already booked solid from 5 pm through the evening today. Not to worry, we'll do it sometime soon. Meanwhile, I have decreed that we are going to lay low and order in Vietnamese.
We all love it, it's no fuss for the cook, etc. So we all win.
And Rob just brought me my scotch -- this evening from the Aberlour bottle. Very nice.
