I used to dye my hair all shades of the rainbow when I was younger.

Now I stick with blonde.

It's also EXTREMELY hot here as well. It's 35 degrees C and rising with the humidity factor!

but then again they never showed up in my hair as its dark brown, and once when i tried to dye it blonde i came out an orange

My last Hilights looked really brassy, orangey. I tried that Fudge lightening stuff but it didn't work. I am now purple. Hubby loves it!!

I had never had colored my hair, dark brown, except to cover gray until I started at my present job. First it was dark red with lighter highlights, now it is dark burgundy, and I love it! It matches my scrubs that I usually wear to work.

I'm pleased your hubby likes it!

If your highlights go brassy, use a shampoo that contains silver - it really sorts it out!

I tried to dye my hair Plum, the other week, but it just came out a kind of pink tint!

Even though it meant for dark hair and I was using it on blonde!!
