Yes considering that one parent has 2 shorthair dogs - the other has longhair. If longhair is recessive, then the shorthair parent should never be able to produce longhair.

I had lab in the beginning, but erased it!

Well from the black on her tongue, I'm going to guess that she is part chow... from her coloring maybe English Shepherd (not dobie, I dont think and too small for Bernese Mountain Dog...) and from her stance I'm going to say German Shepard. And you mention hound... hmmmm...
