Hi everyone,
I'm Donna, and I've loved animals all my life.
My beloved animal companions are Rascal and Simba, two gingers who are both now 7 years old. My son and I live in the country and Rascal was a feral that we found alone in our yard, so we adopted him when he was about 6 weeks old. Then we rescued Simba because Rascal needed a buddy, so they grew up together and are completely indoor kitties now.
When they were little they could both be on my computer desk at the same time. Rascal is on the left and Simba on the right when they were 4 months old.:
Rascal 6 years old relaxing:
Simba at 6 years:
Both boys are on raw foods and a nutritious wet food, Taste of the Wild; although we've researched and tried others, Rascal is rather picky. We've been dealing with a health issue for Rascal for almost a year, and although we've had many tests done, and we now have a fantastic holistic vet, we still don't have a definite diagnosis. More on that later probably.
For now, I appreciate being approved to this fantastic group of cat lovers, and look forward to learning more and to sharing whatever I've learned and experienced that might interest or help others.
Ciao,
Donna
