Hi everyone...I'm new here and thought I'd say hi!
I'm a cat owner of 4yrs...adopted my cat when he was a 8wk y/o kitten from a litter of 5. My friend was fostering the litter for her local shelter so I gladly adopted one. His name is Simba...male, domestic short hair, tabby pattern, 13lbs, 4y/o.
Simba's not much of a cuddler or lap cat...very independent.
My wife & I recently decided to foster a cat for a month, from the same shelter. Her name is Jasmine, female, tuxedo pattern, 8lbs, 2 1/2y/o. She was found as a stray nearby the shelter, she's very skittish. She's been at the shelter for a while, but has anxiety and stressed there so we thought we'd give her a break for a little while. We kept the two cats apart for a while but they recently met each other and have been getting along.
