Hi kitteh lovers
I'm so happy to find this site, already I've learned so much by searching and reading.
Princess Megan Wonderful is our current overly doted on furkid. We rescued her in Sept 2008 from the "mean streets" when a neighbor was feeding strays in our yard. She is DMH Calico, her favorite game is Stringie but she's also very good at 2human squishy ball. We had tremendous difficulty thinking of a name so for the first 3 months or so we called her Goofus and she has many nicknames that are an off shoot of that - Goof-Goof, Poof-Poof, Goofus Poufus as well as NutMeg, and my favorite Ms Spunkasquirm.
Ms Megan has trained her humans well, she's been spoiled by a raw diet since the first week we had her (as fast as we could come up with a suitable recipe) and she has a clever litter system that uses popcorn kernels as a happy compromise between toilet training for cleanliness and still letting her scratch & bury.
We have pictures scattered all over the web, a few here:

I'm here because we're unofficially fostering a stray and I could use some moral support and help with resources but I'll post those details in the SOS section. I figured it would be more polite to at least give our background here first
