Great Thing About A Kitten Is That - Eventually It Becomes A Cat

You might have heard that old rhyme, about how kittens are to be preferred, and maybe they are, but cats are wonderful, too, especially after you've seen them as kittens.

So, share with us kittens you've had, and the adults they became!

Although my family had cats, Ruby's my first own cat, and she was already an adult with I adopted her. So, unfortunately, no Ruby kitten pics to share.

I wish I had kitten pictures of Lilith and Sophie. I got them as adults too.

Link is my baby. Don't get me wrong, I love Rocket. But I definitely have a favorite. He's been with me since he was 5 weeks old (circumstances required) and he is my goofy boy. This video was seconds after I opened the carrier when I got him home the very first time....

He has grown into such a handsome boy. There are moments I miss the kitten version but he was a handful of crazy kitten until Rocket joined the family a year later. Now he is mellowing more and becoming more relaxed, in some ways.

Rocket has also grown up significantly. From a scared little feral to a pampered princess. She's her own unique and very bossy character.

First one is Oliver as a tiny kitten. Second one is now. He was born that size.

Then at around 2.5 years (Tesla still left and Darwin right):


Sadly we lost Tesla when she was a far too young 3 years and 4 months old. Six months later we got Darwin a companion. Here is Hedy at around 4 months old with her new best pal Darwin (fairly sure you can tell which is which here!)



And this is 4 days ago with Hedy now 9 months old (so technically she isn't an adult cat yet but she's definitely bigger!)

Agh I know!! When she was tiny she had such a skinny little whiptail. I never thought it would turn into such a fluff!
