Great Item For Giving Cat A Pill

Hi everyone!
I have a cat that isn’t easy to pill. Greenies pill pockets gave her severe runs. She won’t take anything in baby food or chicken however I came across these packaged treats from Inaba ciao called whole chicken fillet in broth. I open the package and the treat stays good in the fridge for days. I hide the pill in a piece of this and make a meatball and then give her the rest on a plate. This is working like a charm and wanted to share my success. Hope this helps others! They come in other flavors but so far this is all I have bought.

Interesting There are other brands of pill doughs besides Pill Pockets. I personally use bacon flavored pill dough to get pills into my cats.

Pills that need to be given long term can usually be compounded into another form such as a chew treat or transdermal gel. Ask the vet if compounding is an option.
