Which flavor does your cat like best? Which has most meat?
Well my boy ate all his sea bass, which looked good. My girl had beef & liver, she drank all the juice so I added more water. If she does not eat the bits dog or feral will get it. I catch her coming back for nibbles. Our cats especially like the ones with liver. Most of the GC foods are a little soupy and slurpy but some of them have larger chunks than others; some are shreddier. You might want to check the photos on the Petropics Web site. I bought a variety pack to get started and set the fish cans aside for the shelter.
I'm glad to hear he ate the sea bass (it sounds so swanky, doesn't it?!) and that your girl is at least nibbling on the beef and liver. Some of those foods have large pieces that cats might not be used to so I suspect they could take some getting used to. Or even cutting!Well my boy ate all his sea bass, which looked good. Oh, that's very good then! She ate 2/3rds and the little feral happily ate the rest. Typically she does not like beef much, so this was good!
She'll probably like the chicken with duck, then. (It sounds like you must have bought the variety pack!)She is a chicken, duck, rabbit girl. He eats everything!
That's great to hear. Tiki is such good food. She never scratches after tiki, no gums etc in it!
Yes I bought two so each cat could try each flavor!
I don't know... but I do remember that there was someone else in Canada (@mingking, was it you?) who was wondering about Tiki Gourmet Carnivore. It's possible that a store might be able to order it for you. Tiki GC is a little expensive but our pickier cat likes it a lot, both cats love the slurpy juice, and most flavors are pretty rich/caloric so keep the cats filled up.
Is this line available outside of the States? I saw it on their official website and looks like something I'd want to try for my kitties but I can't find it on any of the Canadian pet store sites. Our local Pet Valu doesn't carry Tiki Cat at all and I don't think the Global Pet Foods in my general area (about an hour's drive away) carries it either. I either have to drive to the States or order it online. And the American sites don't ship to Canada.
I've been told Global Pet Foods has Tiki Cat but I'm unsure of the gourmet carnivore line! Where I live, we don't have Global Pet Foods. I think it's a good idea to call around and ask before you make any trips. I've made A LOT of trips

I'm glad they like them. And yes, some of the pieces of liver are pretty big! Our cats like them -- they seem to enjoy working on them and I'm glad they slow down our fast eater -- but I can imagine some cats not wanting to put up with them. She liked the duck and chicken, he liked lamb and liver. I have to cut smaller for her!
Ours like the liver flavors best, too... I think it's because they get lots of other chicken but not much liver! She also likes beef liver with chicken. She is liking these flavors better than the plain chicken unless it's the newness.
