Yay Amy! That is so awesome! I'll come to you for advice on 'how to do it' when I get to go back to school. (I have to wait till I've been with the company long enough to help me pay my tuition.)

Wow, thank you SO MUCH everyone for all of the wonderfully nice words!
I really appreciate it

OK, I officially become a freshman again (haha Kelly, you have a little bit of seniority over me
) on Oct. 10th. I'm starting out with only one class, but I may increase to 2 classes/term- we'll see. These are accelerated (2 month) terms, so my advisor recommended starting out with only 1 at a time.

That's the only way I'm able to afford grad school, too
It's nice that we have that available, huh?

Congrats!

Well with online the stress is so relieved since you don't physically have to go to campus, gosh it helps when working and it's raining etc. One thing I did when doing online courses was I did my homework on Sat morning-it was easier to get into the groove on Sat, and then I let myself play some on Sunday *if* I got it all done.

Congratulations!!

I agree it could be cool if TCS had some kind of study group, just a place to whinge about upcoming deadlines and give each other an encouraging push.

Woo-Hoo, Amy! YOU GO GIRL!!!
You are going to do so great! I just have one question: How are you going to take these online classes with Epinone on your lap and Cosette on your keyboard?

Thank y'all so much. Carol, I've kind of worked out a similar system already for when I'm going to do my schoolwork. At least 2-3 nights during the week will be 100% dedicated to schoolwork (not including what I get done at work...
) and I'll do any leftover stuff on the weekends.

That's a hoot! You're not far from the truth. When I'm on the computer, Eponine actually likes to sit on the chair BEHIND me (so I'm sitting on the very edge of my seat
) while Cosette plays "King Kong Cosy" and climbs all up and down the back of my computer chair. Ah, ratheads!
