I went to donate some of Puppy's old things a couple weeks back. Petco has cages for the Humane Society, so I figured I would just take them there. Turned out a Humane Society worker was there, cleaning cages and bringing in new cats.
There were 12 cages and only 4 cats! She a lot of people had been adopting, and they didn't even have more cats to bring in! Apparently there were more cats at the shelter, but the have space.
I think that's the first time I've not seen all the cages full. The shelter worker was really excited about it.
