Now if people would admit that glass covered buildings kill a billion birds* a year and not cats, we might get somewhere. But for now there is this small glimmer of light.

According to research from the University of California-Davis, concerns over foodborne risk from certain wild birds may not be as severe as once thought by produce farmers.
The research findings suggest that current practices of removing bird habitats around produce growers’ farms may not solve the problem of pathogenic bacteria.

* this from the people who don't much care for cats.

Now if people would just admit that pesticides aren't good for birds. Many died of starvation because there were no insects for them to eat. Factory farmers of crops or animals really don't seem to think about tomorrow. But, hey, doesn't matter we can always blame cats. Ask the Australians about mice.

Yes, I'm a little angry about the birds and about throwing the blame where it doesn't really belong. Cats really only manage to kill the sick and dying.
