My friend and I both have a black cat.

Actually I got a tuxedo kitty from her and she had a litter and now I have a solid black boy kitty. He is at least 3 yrs. old.

She names hers from Greek kitties.

One is named Bast.
Look up the Greek name of the worshiped kitty.

That plus others without any background I know.
Like Cleo (cleopatra) or Ceasar?
