Yesterday I had to put these precious little ones to sleep. I agonized over this, but I know it was for the best. They were suffering so much and it was terrible to watch. I was so truly hoping that I could save them. I felt like I had let them down. They trusted me when their real mama abandoned them and I felt like I was doing the same thing. Now I know that they are not sick anymore, they are happy and with my other babies that have gone before them. The Rainbow Bridge is a truly wonderful thing. I will be with them all again one day. Thank you all for your advice and your kind words. You all do such wonderful things!

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for taking in these precious babies and loving them so completely. You didn't let them down. You cared for them and then unselfishly made the terribly difficult decision to let them move on and to end their suffering. It is a good, loving, and noble thing to do. It hurts so bad, though.
I will say a prayer for them tonight before bed. Take care.

Please accept my condolences, it's never easy to have to say goodby way too soon. You tried, and you gave these babies love in their short lives and that is a wonderful thing. You loved them enough to not have them suffer, that is what true love is. You loved them so much, that is why you now hurt so bad. There is a huge hole in your heart right now, but remember, they will always have a place there, forever. Harley and Davidson, you both graced the world with your presence, RIP little ones!
