Going out of town, not sure what to do

Hey guys I'm going out of town for a couple days, visiting my family but not sure what to do with the cats. One is 2 other is 3 month kitten.. I was thinking of bringing them with since we have no one to take care of them and can't afford to put them in a boarding place. They know my parents place since that's where they grew up before we moved but I guess I'm not sure if I should bring them or if they'd be fine at home ?

I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving a kitten but that is me.

I vote for "take them with you".  Kittens can get into soooo much trouble and you'll feel better knowing they're both safe and healthy.
