They need the money too. At least its not a casino. The tribe itself is divided over it, but from the pictures I've seen it doesn't look too bad. Of course, nature is better, but don't we cheapen ever natural wonder so we can enjoy them in comfort and with amenities?

Don't know if I'd pay 75 dollars to be scared silly, but if I went all the way there, I probably would. Think I'll wait for the first few million people to try it though.

Uh yeah, I don't think I'd fork out that much myself. I imagine the views you can get elsewhere of the canyon are inspiring enough on their own.

The Hualapai are in this as a way to make money.
I agree it does cheapen the natural wonder of it having this man made structure so obvious and sticking out like a sore thumb.

But after a few million people have trampled on it, the structure will have weakened!

I would not pay $75 to see these new views. The news reports say that it can hold 170 people?? I just not sure of the engineering of this walkway.
