Leone means "lion" in Italian; it's also a surname.  I originally named the last three cats (all girls) The Leone sisters, but have since made them Irish: The Hooligan sisters.  My BIL once referred to them as "those little soccer hooligans", so it stuck! I also call them "Los Tres Hooliganes" in Spanish.
