Thank you everyone. Maia was tested (the Elisa test) 2 weeks after her meds were finished from round 2 of giardia and it came back clear! She has remained clear thus far and am very hopeful she will remain that way. She still has some soft and smelly stools but not with every bowel movement. My vet thinks she just needs time to get her gut back to normal from all the antibiotics and meds she was on for the giardia. It has been great to get back to normal life and I pray that it stays this way! I did purchase the Prozyme but since Maia has been cleared of giardia, I have just been adding it to her food each day to see if it will help her tummy troubles and harden up her stools permanently.
