Scratch has had some trust issues in the past due to him being adopted out and brought back twice to the shelter. About a month ago he "gave" me his shelter toy and now won't play with it any more. Today he let me give him a FULL kitty rub down, complete with some belly pats. He's getting to the point where he isn't running away from affection any longer and I am so excited. It's been a really long process, because we've had him since May. Keep your fingers crossed, I think we hit a milestone today.
