Way back when I was in my 20's I was tested for ulcer-I had to drink this barium stuff, then when it was all over the doc gave milk of magnesia. Needless to say I spent the next 4 hours in the bathroom "excreting" the barium stuff. It was awful. And yes I did have ulcer. One in a while I have heartburn -I will take Tagmet. Hope if goes well for you!!
