Hello all, first time poster here.
I have a 1 year old Siberian Forest Cat and I will be adding another Siberian to our family in September 2018, she/he will be approximately 12 weeks old.

This is my first foray as a cat owner so I'm still learning lots.

I've read many articles about how to introduce them to each other but they usually pertain to older cats and new kittens.

Our 1 year old was socialized at a boarding facility in May and had no issues with other cats.

Should I still keep them in separate rooms for a few days and then introduce them?
Our issue is we don't really have a separate room as we live in a 1 bedroom apartment.

Please share all your sage wisdom and thoughts.

Have a great night!

I would still follow through with the standard introduction process, keeping them in separate rooms as best as you can (maybe keeping the new kitten in your bedroom), and then scent swapping, room swapping, before meeting through a baby gate. It is usually easier to introduce kittens to young cats, so you might be able to move faster. The TCS article does a great job explaining everything: How To Successfully Introduce Cats: The Ultimate Guide
