I introduced a new cat into the house last month. My two cats are now fairly nicely integrated and comfortable enough to have their 2 bowls of food and 2 litter boxes in the same small half bath.
The problem is, one cat is significantly larger than the other and tends to be a "clean his plate" sort of cat. Before, I carefully measured his food for the day, because if I just dumped food in, he'd eat everything. Now that I have 2 cats, I have been just dumping food in the 2 bowls and it's gone when I get home from work. I'm assuming that they're both getting enough to eat...but I'm afraid that the larger cat is eating his share and maybe most of the smaller cat's, too. What do you do when you have 2 cats and they each need to eat a "certain" amount of food, and no more?
thanks!!
