Luckily, we don't get Geico commercials here. But we have our own annoying ones. There's a local store called "Dodd's Furniture" and because of the commercials, we avoid that place at all costs. The Dodd owner-guy dresses up in the commercials. He's tried to be Captain Jack (Johnny Depp he ain't), the Hulk, Spider Man, and many others I don't even want to try to remember!

We have a local business owner that does that, too - Tucson Appliance.

As for Geico, that gecko has been annoying me, for years. I DID like the commercial, where he was sitting in the old lady's living room, surrounded by cats, though.

they are very annoying commericals, but it got my attention last summer to check it out, and i did.

GLAD I DID!!!

I saved over $500 for a 6 month policy over Progressive!!!!

We looked at Geico due to their ads when we first got to the US and they were the only company who would accept our Australian driving history, so charged us half what anybody else was trying to charge us.

What was REALLY funny was that AAA was trying to get us to switch to them, and said how competitive they were, so I called them for a quote, and they were $700 more then Geico because they didn't accept our driving history. The woman tried to tell me that AAA were just really good quality, and maybe in a years time when we've built more of a US driving history we should call them again for another quote. I don't think so lady!!! Geico has been awesome, and saved us a fortune, we'll be sticking with them for a while, even if someone does end up cheaper since they were so good to us and so easy to deal with.

As for the commercials now - we DVR everything we watch and it automatically skips the ads, so we never see any of them!

The gieco commercials aren't that bad, I actually think the ones for motorcycle insurance are funny. But they don't really show those very often.

Now this is an annoying commercial Anyone that lives in or has lived in Oklahoma will know this jingle. In fact we can all sing it and it's sort of one of those signs that it's the Christmas season.
