I had to have all that stuff done when I applied for my massage therapist license. It took forever because I had a misdemeanor assault for pepper spraying a man that was trying to attack me with an 18 torque wrench. He came out of the shadows in the dark, swinging. He is lucky he didn't get the pistol other hand. It was in another state, but their lawyers had to figure out if I was some kind of serial pepper sprayer, and have a probationary license for 2 years. It took 4 months to get it straightened out. I took and passed my state and national boards, on September 11th, but my license was held up until January 25th.
