Good morning!
First post here so I thought I'd say hello.
The two cat members of our family are Tigerlily (Lil is acceptable if you rub her tummy first), a high strung five year old tortie princess, and Oscar, a twelve week old rescue kitten. We had to let go of our big boy Watson in January after a long battle with anaemia and the attendant CRF issues.
Watson was "physically sick but clinically well", as the vet put it, for many years so I'm happy to pass on advice, stories, tips and support to cat guardians going through the same thing. It's a long, wrenching journey and I'd like to think
Oscar came to us less than a week after we lost Watson. Waaaaay sooner than we had wanted to add another cat to the house but that''s just how it ended up working out. We're having some real issues with the introduction process and Lil's aggression toward the new kitten so I'll be posting some questions in that area and hoping for some wisdom and good advice.
Looking forward to getting to know you!
