i filled the sink up with lukewarm water. i grabbed 'bonkers' securely, but not tightly, by the neck and back and put his feet in the water. he squirmed but there is nowhere he can go because his feet were underwater and the bottom was slippery and i had a hold of his neck. i then flipped him on his back and kept only his head above water. i used the other hand to gently massage him.
then i dried him off a bit and gave him a treat. he didnt even squirm.
and then i washed the next 2 cats. same thing. very easy.
i'm gonna buy some cat shampoo and i'll wash my kitties every 1-2 weeks and give them a worthwhile treat...
i think its an extremely hygenic thing to do. plus the fact that they're indoor cats, and are toilet trained. might as well start while they're young.
