That's a bummer. I think I would've screamed for the manager, showed him/her your boot, and indicate that I wasn't about to pay for the spill, and expected compensation for the boots.

Whoa - that was incredibly rude of him - I say, write a letter to the manager and ask for reimbursement for the shoe. He shouldn't get away with this!

Well the problem is, its one of those tiny trashy little gas stations..not a big name one so I doubt they would do anything for me
