I only attend gatherings that I expect to enjoy, so I usually have a good time.

What did you have for holiday dinner?

Steak, tossed salad and parmesan cous cous with a glass of wine.

Are you get nervous driving over high bridges?

I don't drive, I think it's better when you are not in control.

Do you like to watch documentaries?

Yes, I love documentaries. I like to feel that I'm learning something.

What was the best movie you saw in 2016?

Avengers: Age of Ultron was really slow. If I never see another superhero movie it will be too soon.

What was your favourite song/ album/ piece of music of 2016?

Hearing that @Artiemom's dear boy Artie is doing a bit better.

What is one thing you have to get done before the end of 2016?

I have to get one last ride in before the snow starts. We usually get really heavy snow from January to March so we can't take the horses out for the next 3 ~ 4 months. Got to go horse riding this week!

What do you do with all the wrapping paper after you've finished unwrapping everything?

There isn't any. I don't wrap DD's gifts. She usually gets most of her gifts from me before Christmas. I don't wrap the furkids' gifts. The only gifts I get are the ones that really matter to me. My DD is healthy and she is doing fantastically well in school. She has been on the dean's list for several semesters and will be getting her bachelors degree in the Spring. I am so proud and I know her dad is too. All of my furkids are healthy and happy although at almost 15, Miss Bailey is starting to get a bit senile. It happens. Life goes on. I have my DD,my furkids, a steady job and all of you wonderful people. I am a lucky girl.

ETA: Silly me. DD will continue on with school after her bachelors and will have a masters degree in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida (where she will also get her bachelors) in summer 2018. She is an amazing human being and I am so blessed to have her.

What are you thankful for?

There's so much that I am thankful for, I'm most thankful for my partner.

What are you looking forward to in 2017?

Having a regular job and thus more money (even though freelancing and extra time is nice, I'm over the tight budget), and hopefully more travel.

What's your favorite animal that's not (often/usually) a pet?

The lion. There's something about lions that has always fascinated me. They are simply such majestic creatures. Beautiful. Especially the males with those manes. Just gorgeous.

What's your favorite weather?

Fall, there's a crispness that you can't get any other time of the year. 75 degrees in the day, 50's at night. PERFECT!

What's your favorite perennial to grow?

Probably jumpsuits/onesies, not the cozy snuggly ones, but the pants-suit type ones all in one piece. Definitely not my thing.

What's something that's trendy now that you do like?

I am the least trendy person in the world, but I like how some of the older trends are coming back. Some of the newer looks have an 80's feel.

What was for breakfast today?
