Tab & Slinky aren't the friendliest cats. Both over ten years old (Tab is 11 years & Slinky 13 years, if my calculations are correct), having lived most of their lives outdoors, on their own, and born feral they obviously didn't socialize the best.
I normally touch Tab maybe once or twice a month, & only if I have wet food. I've petted her every single night for 5+ minutes for the past 4 nights or so. I about died the first night when she climbed in my lap! Tab has such thick rabbit soft fur, whereas Slinky has the silky soft fur.
I tell ya, must be a full moon, they're both being so friendly! (and I am NOT complaining, I really like it!)
Tab
Very close to letting me pet her
Dropping to roll over to expose her tummy to me!
Then there was a noise upstairs to she hid
Where's da kitty?
There she is!
Moved around to see if she could get to the dry food, so I left to let her eat in peace
I tell ya, I grin every time I see her in the middle of a room - she used to 'slink' around the corners & hide in the shadows all the time!
....and speaking of slinking - now onto Slinky's pictures!
In the kitty bed
Tummy rub?
Not sure what to think of everything
Resting that pretty little head of hers
Talk about breakfast in bed!
