Ok please bear with me. When frontline came out onthe market several years ago the instructions given by most vets were to place half the tube at the base of the neck and half at the base of the tail. I only had dogs then so that is what i was told by vets. Since i only had hairless dogs, i couldnt use the spot on and had to use the spray so it didnt really apply in my circumstances anyway
Now it seems that only at the base of the neck is sufficent. ( i still use the frontline spray for my hairless dogs and haired ones
). Yet when i put advantage, purchased from my vet, ( i know they are differnet products) on PB a couple of months ago for fleas, it didnt even make a dent in the fleas for PB. My home has been treated several times very very recently. My hairless dogs dont have fleas nor do my German Shepherds who are inside outside dogs. PB is the only animal we have that has fleas. I am going to get a months worth of Frontline plus from the vet friday and put it on PB to see if it will make a difference.
So my question is... how do yall apply frontline to your kitties? Just on the back of the neck or at both places. Im hesitant to put it at the base of his tail due to him possibly ingesting it, but i will get an e collar if thats what works best.
