That's so true. Cats certainly don't owe us anything, but Briar's contributed to this world in a big way, and at the tender age of 7 months. I don't mean to say that this was his "purpose", because being the great boy he is is his "purpose", but I do think there was a "plan" in the way I was guided to him, and ultimately to place him in this home. In that way, lives could be saved, and a great cat could find a loving home. It's win-win all around!
