Hello all
I am going to be a new (kitten)mommy to two bengal kittens, they will be 9-10 weeks old when we receive them. My husband and I have been going crazy figuring out this whole raw food diet situation. We finally narrowed it down and we are going to do the frakenprey. Now I've found many helpful tips on what kinds of meat and percentage to use. But I'm still up in the air about freezing meals, and how many I can have prepared before they aren't considered "fresh" to cat standards.
However my questions are:
How long should I freeze a meal to "kill bacteria" before feeding?
Using our refrigerator freezer, how long can meals/days be prepped in advance and frozen to still be considered "fresh"?
I will be wrapping portions in plastic wrap, and then in ziplock bags
If anyone has any advice, we would greatly appreciate is. We want to be as prepared as possible when our babies arrive. Thank you guys in advance
