I have no idea where he came from, or how he got here...
On Wednesday, my youngest son swore to me that he heard a kitten underneath our shop area. I came out, trying to see, and eventually glimpsed shiny little eyes.
I went in and opened a can of tuna, then sat outside by an opening that led under the shop. It didn't take long before a tiny orange face peeked out and investigated the offering.
After he started eating, I grabbed him up. Oh, he was MAD. Hissing and spitting and cussing me out in Kitten, I ignored my scratches and wrapped him burrito-style in a towel and brought him into my room.
It took him only about an hour to calm down enough to eat, and not jump every time he heard a noise.
24 hours later he uses the litter box without fail and cuddles up to me to sleep.
My questions are thus: there is no way this baby was feral with this reaction, is there?
If that's the case, somebody dumped this 4-6 week old kitten by a busy 65mph highway...
His name is Mew and he has a home now.
