I just took a trip down memory lane.
Our RB Cocker Spaniel Rex was the foster daddy to two kittens who lost their mom when they were 2 days old. He had the night shift and would sleep by their box. If he heard them stirring, he'd sniff (through a corner of the lid he had pushed up) and check on them. If Rex thought they needed something, he'd wake Mom up. When they were older, he'd help clean them and play with them.
