I let them go knowing there are lots more out there who need our help.

It's never easy though, and I have a harder time with some more so than others. I had a REALLY hard time letting Dexter go on the weekend. I really, really bonded with that little guy, having to syringe feed him and nurse him back to health. Plus he was sooo sweet and cuddly, always wanting to be near me.

I know I'll have a hard time with Brooklyn when she goes as well, simply because of all we have gone through together.

Little Alice is now on hold for adoption!!!

A woman came this morning and fell in love with her! She'll still be here for another couple weeks, but she has a forever home waiting for her.
