Well put, and that's totally my preference when dealing with kittens. I can understand wanting to adopt them out as soon as possible, because of cuteness factor, but they need to learn from each other and other cats for at least ten weeks. I generally prefer twelve, even.

I prefer 12 weeks as well, and re-homing in pairs too when possible. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Coccidia.

Last week we took the fosters to the emergency clinic for lethargy, vomiting? And diarrhea. Stools showed coccidia. They have us Albon, but it upset their tummies more so we thankfully were switched to ponazuril. They've finally gained back some weight and are feeling better (thanks to cerenia.) We still have to give fluids sometimes, but things are getting better.

So sorry you (and they) have had to endure this. Coccidia is nasty!

Ponazuril works like a charm. Much faster than Albon.

I hope everyone gets to 100% soon!

Poor babies!  Poor you!  Glad things are getting better.  It's so hard when tiny ones are sick, and you worry so!
