I'm so sorry. Its hard to lose our beloved companions. And doubly hard to lose two in such a short time.

I'm very, very sorry for you loss. I know that it can be the most painful thing anyone can ever feel. Just know now they are both together and happy right now.

This does happen quite often when two cats that have spent so much time together, loses the other one. Somehow the remaining cat starts to just fade.

I have moved your post

Condolences on this difficult loss. Yes, it sounds like she just lost the will to live...It's hard to have the double whammy - so sad! And you and your vet did such heroic efforts, at least you can have peace, knowing that. Hugs, Susan

Oh i didn't expect to see Gaby in here so soon

I'm so very sorry that you had to lose 2 babies in such a short space of time, but know that you did your very best for Gaby by taking her to the vets.

Tara will have been there to meet Gaby at the bridge to take her to meet all of her new friends there, where they can all play and snuggle together

RIP Gaby
Go see your sister again sweetie

I am so sorry to hear that, it must be hard to lose them both so close together. You did do your best for her though, and you were with her at the end.

Condolences on the loss of Tara and Gabby. Sounds like something was going wrong with her physically, and the loss of her sister was too much for her. How difficult for you! Know that they are together now, as you kept them for their whole lives.

Rest in peace, girls, over the bridge!

i'm so sorry you lost her. sounds like Mouse, except she was the first to go. if Cable hadn't been there, Mouse's lifelong companion Pixel might not have made it for the same reason.
here's hoping you feel better soon...

Thank you all for your kind words and sympathy. I've been checking in nightly-not sleeping that well. It's been a long week and it's only Wednesday.

I know in time my heart will heal but it sure doesn't feel that way yet. I'm lucky I have my 2-yr old Siamese-who is getting lots of extra attention and hugs whether she likes it or not. I'm not sure if she's lonely or delighted to have the place all to herself.

Again your kind words and thoughts are very comforting.

RIP my beautiful babies.

As you can see they were always together. Now they are forever together.
