I thought that cat food is not what cats in the "wild" eat regularly so I figured I would give them something more natural. They are still a bit picky when drinking water. I can't get them to drink from whatever water I put out. So I would use the broth from the chicken/fish I have boiled and mix it with the food and they lap it up easily. Though I have found out that they drink water from a puddle in our bathroom from a leaky pipe.
Also just the other day I bought the Royal Canine dry kitten food. They won't eat it by itself so I mixed it with their regular food. But they make cracking noises when they eat it, like you're trying to bite a hard candy. I have also mixed the food with chicken/fish broth to make it more appealing to them. Is the cracking noise ok?
