I get the same reaction at every potluck here in the 'hood. In fact, when I was in the hospital locally, in critical condition, one of my neighbors was working in the hospital and asked if I could make a TURKEY the next week for her family Thanksgiving. I almost smacked her!!! Yes, she was SERIOUS!

NO, I didn't make the turkey, nor attend the dinner at her house.

Wow.....that was pretty bizarre of her! Gee....way to be sensitive.

My friends all said it in a joking way, and then added "feel better".....and then called me during the game.

And, by the way, the rest of the food looks amazing as well! Makes me hungry!!

Thanks for posting the chili recipe. I can see that in my future....yum!
