I thought it would be fun to post photos of Maggie throughout her growth period and add little mile stones as we go. I do hope that everyone who sees it, enjoys it!

The first day we met I became a surrogate and quickly fell in love with her. (2 weeks old)

She began to rapidly grow after that day.

She began to walk, and explore close to me.

Playing was a new thing to her and she began to test out the waters on her own feet.

Her legs got stronger, she began to put on good weight.

And suddenly she was quick to find her tiny feet a little better. She began to stalk and toddle run, though she was not quite there yet. ;)

She got better at it each day. :D

Dreaming of being a mighty little tiger.

Wait? Mighty tigers don't get baths, do they? Well... this one does! It was her first one and she did exceptionally well.

The mighty little predator turned into an inquisitive baby. She was now running, climbing and doing cat stuff. "Meow!"

The mighty kitty learned how to kill paper.

She was vicious and she knew it!

But vicious tigers have to sleep.
20170407_070110.jpg
And sleep
20170407_091915.jpg

And sleep...
20170408_200819.jpg

So that they can grow, play and explore. :)
20170409_165955.jpg

So they can sleep more.

Stealing towels became a thing.

Between catching crazy strawberries on a string!

Strawberries were to be killed!
20170415_094917.jpg

And the pesky strings as well!

Being a fierce predator was hard work! A (happy kitty is a tired kitty.)

But it isn't all fun and games, ya know? Mighty kitties need to see their Dr. And get wormed and vaccinated. Don't worry! Maggie was laid back and quiet. She was a champ, and champs get new toys to play with.

That evening there would be more towel stealing.
20170415_214816.jpg

And even snuggles with the birdie
20170415_214929.jpg

Her Dr. Sent her home with a Ping pong ball, one she quite enjoys!

I will post more at the end of this coming week. :)

Love this thread. Was Maggie an abandoned kitty at 2 weeks? I presume you had to bottle-feed her?
Unfortunately, yes she was. I never did find any signs of mama or other kittens and with how emaciated she was I suspect that someone dumped her for whatever reason they had. I can't imagine a kitten being all bone while nursing off of their Mom. I mean, she was quite literally starving too death. When I found her she was shaking, screaming extremely loud and in the road so first impulse was to remove her from any dangers and get her in a safe place.
Yep! Bottle fed every 2 hours and stimulated to potty. Admittedly I never bottle raised a kitten, so everything I did I learned from watching The Kitten Lady, which was extremely helpful! Maggie is doing extremely well. She is 7 almost 8 weeks old (she was 6 weeks when she went in the 15th to get her dewormer and 1st round of vaccinations) and has her second round of vaccines coming up May 6th. I'll be posting photos of her visit up as my phone died the last visit.

Grooming her cute little feet. Look at that tuft of fur! I just wanna tickle it between her pads. Lol (excuse Kimi looming in the background.)

She was done with watching, but I still love her white fuzzy legs in this post.

I stumbled across The Kitten Lady solely by accident on YouTube this month. She is amazing.
She really is, and very passionate about her task at hand. I was like you... I stumbled upon her YouTube channel while looking for help with Maggie (it was the night I found her actually.) And her videos were a huge help and probably why Maggie had such a quick recovery. :)

We decided today we would try doing a DIY small cat tree for Maggie since we (I) adore her with a passion and well... we didn't like what we seen at petsmart when we were there earlier getting more things (we were goin to buy two tall trees, but they weren't safe in our opinion)
The only thing we paid for was the twine. Wood scrap was in the garage, carpet remnants from when we had the old carpet ripped out and replaced when we bought our house.

My man helping with the carpet and staples since my hand still can't handle the pressure of the stapler gun just yet.

Completed little cat tree (it's not perfect, but it is sturdy and works.)

The 250lb booty test lol! Yep. Sturdy.

Maggie approved! We are going to Homedepot tomorrow to get supplies to make a sturdy wall mounted cat tree with rustic wood to match the decor of the room.
I'd like to elevate her food dish to stimulate her a bit more so that seemed like a great idea. (Will post more pics once that's i. The works and complete.)

Hope you guys have a fantastic weekend!
