So quite concerned.
Basically, I came home yesterday and let our cat (a 21 month Siamese/Bengal cross) outside like I usually would do. 5 minutes later he came running into the house, sharp, jolty movements while foaming at the mouth - and not just a little bit, it was everywhere. As the door was open he ran back outside - I called for my partner who went to look for him. 5 minutes later my partner saw him sitting outside in the yard as he normally would. He called him in, and he came in and ate some dry food, drank some water. 20 minutes later, as my partner was in the kitchen he suddenly jumped onto the kitchen table and started running around again. Once again, he was running from side to side, sharp movements, like he was trying to avoid something - he was also foaming at the mouth again.
By this point we were very worried, so we took him to the vets. We explained everything to the vet, and he examined him but said there were no signs of distress - behavior wise and physically (he seemed to feel his throat, stomach etc.) He took a temperature and said it was normal.
He said he could give him something to ease any pain if there was anything and obviously we agreed. He advised us to keep an eye on him etc. When we got home we looked at the receipt, and the vet had given him "Cerenia Injection 10mg/ml - by a Subcutaneous Injection".
He seemed to be absolutely fine at this point - so we let him out for the night. He came back in the morning as normal, ate his food as normal and meowed as normal (he's a very vocal cat). Got back from work and he seemed fine still - snoozing away on the bed. Once again, eating as normal, drinking water and we let him out for a few hours.
However, just now at about 10pm (over 24 hours since the vets) he has suddenly jumped off the bed after peacefully sleeping and started running around the landing and downstairs foaming at the mouth - just like last night. He has now stopped and is sleeping under the bed, looking a bit cautious.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be? The vet seemed to suggest we were overreacting - maybe he had eaten something bad etc. but it just seems odd that it would happen again 24 hours later - the same exact symptoms? Any help would be appreciated, we're pretty worried.
