I purchased a stack of plain white Corelle salad plates to feed the girls with. I think I paid about $.99 each for them at Meijers. They're easy to clean (dishwasher safe and easy to hand wash), can be put into the microwave (if need be) and the girls don't seem to have any problem eating from them. Actually, they recognize the sound of them being removed from the cupboard and come running when they hear the rattle...dinner time!!!
